Every once in a while I get in these baking kicks where I think it would be fun to taking a cake decorating class. I know it sounds kind of 'dorky', but I think it would be fun. I could make all these neat cakes and when I show up somewhere everyone will say, 'wow, that looks great' and I will get that warm and fuzzy feeling inside, I know, kind of dorky.

Here are my recent trials...turkeys for Thanksgiving and a Pirate cake for my nephew, Matt. Do you think I got a 'wow, Aunt Sherri, I LOVE my pirate cake'? Nope, it was a 'I wanted a Pirate Ship cake!' Got to love him, my darling, Matt.
