{ Fall Fun, Part 1 }

I have just not been in the mood to blog.  I don't know why, just haven't been.  I have been busy with work.  Constantly picking up after a one year old...and 33 year old :-)  And the blogging has gone by the wayside.  But we have done some very fun things in the past couple of weeks so let me blog about them.

We are fortunate enough to have great neighbors that have a little boy that is just a few months younger than Alyssa.  We have become friends and have play dates.  It has really been a blessing to have another mother close by to chat with and discuss motherhood and whatever else comes up.

Last week we took the kiddos to the zoo.  It was BUSY.  It was a beautiful fall day and we walked around visiting the animals.  Alyssa gets very reserved in public.  I think we are going to have a shy girl on our hands.  She gets quiet and whispers.  She loved the animals.  The llamas in particular; she started crying when we walked away to move onto something else.  She points at everything and says 'whats that'.  Adorable.  And that was the start of our great weekend, with more fall activities to come.
